Reese (she/her) is a third-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Training Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She works jointly with Dr. David DiLillo and Dr. Rebecca Brock. She is interested in researching intergenerational trauma and the influence of adversity on couple and family processes. She has a special interest in advanced quantitative methods. Her clinical interests center around supporting the development of healthy couples, parents, and families.
Reese graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2020 with a B.A. in Psychological Science. She received her M.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University, where her research examined the emotional and behavioral impacts of childhood maltreatment in young adulthood. She also conducted research on measurement in interpersonal violence, specifically clarifying conceptual definitions of psychological maltreatment and examining how maltreatment histories shape women's unique conceptualizations of intimate partner violence.
In her free time, Reese enjoys bouldering, baking sourdough, reading, playing tennis, and weightlifting.
