Lucia (she/her) is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Training Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research focuses on psychological outcomes of experiencing interpersonal trauma, specifically sexual assault. Lucia is interested in exploring PTSD, alcohol use, and survivors' experiences of repeated victimization. After starting at UNL, she began exploring the role of objectification and sexual functioning in sexual assault and alcohol consumption. Lucia is especially interested in understanding how one's self-schema is altered after experiences of violence and ways to support survivors throughout their healing.
